Appointment Do’s & Don’ts

  • Come to your hair appointment with clean hair. Back in the day it WAS best to have “dirty” hair simply because the chemicals were so harsh, that it almost acted as a barrier in order to protect your scalp. However, that’s not the case anymore. Color/bleach are a lot more gentle now, believe it or not having super greasy hair or build-up can actually prevent the color from covering your hair/grays, or it can make the bleach take longer to lift/process. You don’t have to wash it day of, but make sure it’s not more than two days old.

  • Please don’t wear bulky sweaters/hoodies that can’t be removed during your appointment. It makes it hard to work around, any type of bulk that makes your hair lift off your shoulders may affect the final result.

  • Bring visual references such as photos or magazine clippings of hairstyles you like to help convey your vision to your me.

  • Be open to suggestions, remain open-minded to my suggestions or recommendations based on your hair type, face shape, and lifestyle.

  • Ask me questions! Don't hesitate to ask questions about the products used, recommended maintenance, or styling tips to maintain your new look.

  • Follow aftercare instructions. Adhere to any aftercare instructions provided at your appointment to prolong the life and beauty of your hairstyle or color.
